The Colombo airport website lists 4 lounges, but there’s at least one more as Emirates also has a lounge. I had the chance to visit two of the lounges while I transited there.

The Lotus Lounge is listed as a “first class” lounge on the airport website, and it’s also a Priority Pass lounge, which is how I got access. My business class boarding pass on Qatar Airways offered me access to the Araliya Lounge.

The two lounges were almost identical, from the layout to the food offerings to the not-that-nice shower. The Lotus Lounge was perhaps marginally nicer.

While both lounges were a little sad looking, both were perfectly sufficient for a layover of a couple of hours, and both were definitely nicer than the vast majority of domestic airport lounges (hot food! shower! not crowded!). Wifi was decent, although I had a couple of sporadic connectivity issues.
